Micron Electronics positions itself as a hardware vender in the broad M2M+GPS market.  The company focuses on the designing, manufacturing and marketing of personal positioning and tracking devices utilizing a variety of technology platforms including GPS, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WCDMA/HSPA and various 3G technologies.

Our basic go-to-market strategy is to form strategic partnerships with all of the service providers who supply the hardware (tracking devices), which is bundled with their software and services to be sold to the end users.  Our role is to design and produce tracking devices with the most innovative technology and versatility that meets the various needs of different service providers.  The vertical market service providers are key to our market strategy.
